Finding Products to Sell

Finding the right products quickly is the first step to building a successful catalog and serving your customers. The Randmar platform gives you powerful tools to discover, search for, and browse products from all our partner manufacturers.

We recommend using the Randmar Assistant for the fastest and most flexible way to find what you need.

The Randmar Assistant is your primary tool for navigating the platform. Instead of clicking through menus, you can simply ask for what you're looking for in plain language. The assistant understands product names, part numbers, and even general categories.

How to Use the Assistant for Product Discovery:

Simply type your request into the chat interface. Here are a few examples:

  • To find a specific product by its part number:

    "Find product W1480X"

  • To search for products by brand and type:

    "Show me all HP laser printers"

  • To search for a product by its description:

    "I'm looking for a black laser toner for an HP printer"

  • To see all products from a specific manufacturer:

    "List all products from Xerox"

The assistant will present you with the most relevant results directly in the chat, allowing you to quickly get more details or add them to a cart.

Using the Reseller Portal​

If you prefer to navigate visually or if the assistant isn't finding what you need, the portal provides a reliable and comprehensive search and browse experience.

The easiest way to find anything in the portal is the main search bar, typically located at the top of your screen.

You can enter any of the following into the search bar:

  • Manufacturer Part Number (MPN): The most precise way to find a specific item (e.g., "W1480X").
  • Randmar SKU: Our unique identifier for each product.
  • UPC Code: The product's universal barcode number.
  • Product Name or Description: A partial or full name of the product (e.g., "HP 148X Toner").

The search results will show you a list of matching products, which you can then click on for more details.

Browse by Manufacturer or Category​

If you want to explore the product catalog, you can browse directly through our list of supported manufacturers and their product categories.

  1. Navigate to the "Products" or "Manufacturers" section in the main menu. 2. Select a manufacturer you are interested in, such as HP, Xerox, or Brother.
  2. From the manufacturer's page, you can view their product categories and click into them to see all associated products.

This method is great for discovering new products and understanding the range of items offered by a specific brand.
