Understanding Reports and Data

In today's market, data is the new gold. Unlike traditional distribution partners who often keep sales data hidden, Randmar believes in full transparency. We provide you with a suite of powerful reports, giving you direct access to the business intelligence you need to monitor performance, forecast demand, and make strategic decisions.

The assistant is your on-demand data analyst. Ask for any report, and it will be generated and sent directly to your email.

Example Assistant Commands:

  • For a sales summary:

"Email me the sales report for the last 30 days"

  • To get a snapshot of your inventory:

"Send me the current inventory report for the Montreal warehouse"

  • To know what you need to replenish:

"I need the reorder report for all locations"

  • To see all outstanding orders:

"Generate the open orders report and send it to me"

The requested report will be compiled and delivered to your inbox, typically in an Excel format for easy analysis.

Using the Manufacturer Portal

The "Reports" section of the portal is your central dashboard for accessing all available data exports.

  1. Navigate to "Reports" from the main menu.
  2. You will see a list of all available reports.
  3. For reports that require it, select a date range or warehouse location.
  4. Click "Email Report" or "Download File" to generate your data.

Key Reports and Their Strategic Uses

  • Sales Report: Track your sales performance over any period. Use this data to identify your top-selling products, measure the success of a promotion, or see which resellers are driving the most growth.
  • Inventory Report: Get a complete snapshot of your stock levels at all Randmar warehouses. This is crucial for financial planning, asset tracking, and ensuring you have the right amount of product in the right places.
  • Reorder Report: This proactive report is one of your most powerful tools. It analyzes sales velocity and lead times to tell you exactly which products are running low and need to be replenished, helping you prevent costly stockouts.
  • Open Orders Report: See a real-time list of all reseller orders that are currently in our system but have not yet shipped. Use this for near-term demand forecasting.
